Meet FNAF World, the newest project from Scott Games. Here's the first teaser trailer for it.

Ahead of the last Five Nights at Freddy's game's launch, Scott Cawthon (a.k.a Scott Games) originally planned to release a demo build of a future game he would be working on once the Five Nights at Freddy's series ended. Plans changed and the demo build ended up not ready for public consumption, but what Scott did do is release a teaser trailer for his next game called FNAF World.

While this new game is a part of the Five Nights at Freddy's universe, it isn't a FNAF horror game as that series is over. If you missed our previous article about FNAF World, essentially what this will be is an RPG based around the FNAF universe. Players will create a party from a big selection of characters from the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise. This includes the classic, withered, toy, phantom, and nightmare versions.

There still isn't a whole lot of details about this game, but thanks to the new teaser trailer we do get a better idea of the gameplay that will be arriving with FNAF World. Since this is a group-based RPG, when combat happens it will be in a turn-based style like other RPG titles. Another feature you get to see a bit of is outside of combat. It looks like this game will have either an open-world, or partially open-world, format to it when wandering around. Also all the characters are cute now.

Five Nights at Freddy's does have a pretty big and dedicated fan-base. There's also a lot of people who preferred to not play the series. With the arrival of FNAF World, we may see some of those people who aren't a fan of the franchise suddenly becoming a fan. Right now there's no specific release date for FNAF World, only that it will be arriving to most platforms, including Android of course, sometime in 2016. We will post an update once more details are released as well as that playable demo that is still planned.
