Unwired Planet Inc. Takes Google, Samsung and Huawei to Court

You've probably never heard of Unwired Planet Inc. and that is because they don't have any products. What they do have though is 2,000+ patents that were mostly acquired from Ericsson AB. Next week, Unwired Planet takes Google, Samsung and Huawei to court for allegedly violating 6 patents that they say are "considered foundational to mobile communications." The lawsuits are expected to last more than a year.
