Mugshot Games will be releasing their newest game Digfender next month onto Android

Mugshot Games originally released CastleMine some time ago and that game has done quite well for itself, gathering over 2 million downloads so far across all platforms. Well the developers have been busy working on a follow-up to CastleMine, called Digfender, and it looks like it is almost ready for launch.

So what is Digfender? This particular game is a rather unique style of tower defense game that takes place deep underground. Players will need to hunt for resources underneath their castle while battling monsters rising up from below. Since this is underground, and you need to hunt for your resources there as well, players will need to carefully plan their routes to those resources without making it easier for the monsters to get to your castle. So yes, you will be digging.

However, do you need to get those resources. If you don't, you won't be able to properly defend yourself against those monsters coming up underneath your castle. This will be a free-to-play game when it launches, with optional IAPs as well. The developers have said that these IAPs are completely optional and the game was developed without any paywalls or wait-timers either. We will post an update once this game launches onto Android on November 5th.
