To be ported by Norsfell Games, Kalypso Media has announced today that Airline Tycoon will be coming to Android. Like other Tycoon games, players assume responsibility for the business success of a particular venture, and in this case players are looking to run the best airline around.

There are four tycoons within the game (the one players use, and three competitors), all striving to best the others. A variety of different metrics will need tending, from upkeep and upgrades to the current planes in the fleet, planning flights, buying and selling planes, manage employee relations, procurement of fuel, and hopefully being able to find time to have your character sneak in a coffee break.

While no regular date was given, they did tip their hand a bit on pricing. Kalypso mentioned why they selected Norsfell Games, because they "topped the field with its Free-To-Play expertise and fresh game design approach to one of Kalypso’s many successful IPs", according to the developers. When we know more details, we will post an update.
