Galactus Space Shooter is a new top-down scrolling arcade shooter for Android

Published on Monday, 08 June 2015 13:10

If you're a fan of top-down arcade shooters, then you might want to check a new one that has arrived onto Google Play from FatStack Games. This new arcade game is called Galactus Space Shooter and just like the name suggests, this game takes place in space, with you manning a space fighter type of jet and plenty of enemies to shoot down.

The goal of this game, if you follow storylines, is to save the nine realms from a massive enemy invasion. Set in the year 2095, our entire solar system has been destroyed by an alien race called the Cetians. However, some of the human race managed to escape and settled into a new solar system called Kepler-90, which contains nine planets, hence the Nine Realms name. Of course the Cetians have followed you there so now you must make a stand.

Players will command their little space fighter, shooting down as many alien enemies as possible as well as taking on bigger boss ships. Along the way you'll be able to snag power-ups for your ship to help to take down the stronger enemies that you will encounter. Your goal is to completely eliminate the alien threat before they destroy the Nine Realms and you along with it.

This is a pure arcade shooter, no frills or gimmicks. If you dig these types of games, you can download Galactus Space Shooter for free to try out. If you like it, you can unlock all the levels in this game for $0.99 through a single IAP. There are no ads or other IAPs involved.
