[Update: Game Released] The Binary Mill Tempts Android Gamers with Mini Motor Racing WRT

Published on Friday, 24 April 2015 13:14

The Binary Mill, known for their popular games Mini Motor Racing and the Gun Club Series, will be releasing their next game some time this month. If you are a fan of racing games, it is hard to find one that is as enjoyable, colorful and fun, as Mini Motor Racing. Mini Motor Racing was released in 2011 to much acclaim. The car handling was good, and the tracks were some of the most well-rendered environments, seen on a mobile device at that time. The series has a lot of fans, and soon, you will be able to revisit the game in a whole new format, with Mini Motor Racing WRT.

Update: April 24th, 2015 13:09pm PST: Binary Mill has finally released Mini Motor Racing WRT onto Google Play. You can download a copy of this game through the link at the bottom of this article for free.

Just over a week ago, The Binary Mill made a big announcement about their latest iteration in the Mini Motor Racing series. The good news is that it appears we won't have to wait too long for the next game. Mini Motor Racing WRT should release some time this month. What we don't know, is if it will be a dual Android/iOS release. Lately, it has seemed more prevalent than ever, that a game will launch on iOS first, then Android, a week or two later, or worse in some cases, months later. It could also be that there are  a bunch of really good games coming out, and we want to play them as soon as possible. Nevertheless, The Binary Mill appears to have put a lot into their next racing game, Mini Motor Racing WRT. Here is the information that they have provided thus far.

"The gameplay is more engaging than ever thanks to a rich RPG-style career mode that lets you build a fleet of unique vehicles and assemble the finest hand-picked racing team in your quest to become the World Racing Tournament champion. And if that's not enough, take the challenge to the real world by forming a Race Club with your friends and go head to head with other racers from around the world." - The Binary Mill

Mini Motor Racing WRT Features:

  • Massive Career Mode
  • Customizable Vehicles
  • Racing Teams
  • Race Clubs
  • HD Graphics
  • 30 New and classic tracks
  • League and challenge modes
  • Club battles
  • Massive single player career
  • Officially licensed Nissan, Kia and Choro-Q (Penny Racer) vehicles

Mini Motor Racing WRT appears to be stacked with a lot of game play options. The race clubs portion of the game sounds like it could be a lot of fun. At launch, the game is supposed to be free to play. As always with the free to play model, we will be interested to see how that framework affects game play.

There have been a lot of improvements to Android devices since the original Mini Motor Racing was released. Based on the initial videos, this game should look and play great on the latest crop of high-powered devices. When we find out a release date, or if the game surprisingly shows up in the Play Store/Amazon App Store, we will let you know.
