Samsung Galaxy S6 to include just two S apps to reduce bloat

We’ve all heard that Samsung is trying to tone down TouchWiz for its next flagship release. Thanks to SamMobile, we now have a list of all the stuff Samsung will be installing on the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge! And thankfully, it’s far less than usual.

The only two S apps that will be included are S Health and S Voice. S Health is a great addition and I wouldn’t call it bloat, but S Voice is mostly useless with Google Now in the picture. GALAXY APPS will also be included, so you can download other Samsung apps that aren’t preinstalled.

On top of that, it looks like Samsung made a deal with Microsoft as both OneNote and OneDrive will be included. Along with Skype, Facebook, and WhatsApp, these can be considered bloat and are unnecessary to preinstall. But this list looks really lean, which is great news.

On top of a reduction in apps, it’s said that Samsung is toning down TouchWiz in general to make it faster for the release of the Galaxy S6. Not much will change in temrs of visuals from the current Lollipop TouchWiz we see now, but more stock Google animations will be added along with a better Material theme. What do you think of the direction Samsung is headed?
