OnePlus One Launching In Indonesia, Pre-Orders Start January 27th Exclusively Through Lazada
OnePlus isn't letting the situation in India get it down—the OnePlus One is coming to Indonesia later this month, and that's a rather large market too. Sure, it's not India, but Indonesia is the 4th most populous country in the world with 250 million people. All of them will be able to pre-order the One on January 27th without an invite. Remember when you didn't need invites to buy a phone? Those were the days.
OnePlus isn't turning Indonesian consumers completely loose on the device—pre-orders will only be available for a short time starting at 11:00AM on the 27th. After that, there will be an Indonesian invite system just like there has been in other regions. The phone and accessories will be available exclusively through Lazada, which is a large online retailer in Southeast Asia.
As for pricing, the 64GB Sandstone Black OnePlus One will cost Rp 4,499,000, or about $361. It isn't clear if the 16GB is coming to Indonesia as well, but it seems like the 64GB is the more popular option anyway.
