Details on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 leak

If a Twitter account known as @leaksfly is right, we now have some interesting information on what Qualcomm has in the works for the next year. According to a post from the @leaksfly Twitter account, which was just started earlier this year, Qualcomm has six new processors in the making, including the flagship Snapdragon 820.

As you might expect from the Snapdragon 820, the chip is an absolute beast. At 14nm, the Snapdragon 820 is pegged as being a 64bit octa-core processor with support for LTE-A Cat10 networks and LPDDR4 RAM that will be paired with an Adreno 530. The Snapdragon 815 is similar to the 820, also featuring support for LTE-A Cat10 and LPDDR4 RAM, but with Big.Little architecture and an Adreno 450. The rest of the models, the Snapdragon 625, 629, 620 and 616 all go down from there. You can find more information on those chips in the picture below.

When any of these new Snapdragons will be unveiled or put to use in devices remains to be seen, but we have a good feeling it might still be awhile.
