AT&T prepaid throttles after breaking data cap on new $45 plan

AT&T GoPhone plans have had a bit of an update today by way of a new $45 plan that offers 1 GB of data. On that plan, instead of cutting off your service after blowing through your data cap, AT&T will just throttle you down to 128 kbps. This new throttling mechanism will also be in place for those on the existing $60 plan.
