Moto G GPe now getting Android 5.0.1

If you own a Google Play edition device, you’re likely a fan of speedy updates. Owners of the Moto G GPe are about to experience one of those speedy updates, with a new update to Android 5.0.1 Lollipop now rolling out to owners of the device. Android 5.0.1 is a small bug-fixing and performance improving update for Lollipop. Nexus devices have already received the update, and the Moto G GPe marks that it’s now rolling out to Google Play edition devices.

The update is 380MB in size and is build LRX21Z, which is actually slightly older than the Nexus build, though they contain all of the same things. The update is rolling out now, but don’t worry if it doesn’t reach your device for a couple of days, because Google usually rolls these out slowly.

Once you get the update, leave a comment down below and let us know!
