‘Tis the season for Google to roll out new mobile features to Google Shopping

Have you ever searched for product prices while at a store or while in line to purchase a product? I know I do it all the time. And Google used to have an app for that. According to El Goog, nearly 50 percent of 25-34 year-olds use their phone to shop online while standing in line at a store. Therefore, to avoid missing out on that online action, Google announced that it will be once again helping us out with finding the best possible prices by rolling out new mobile features to Google Shopping.

Google Search Shopping 2According to the Official Google Blog, “Starting this week, when you search for a specific product on your smartphone or tablet you’ll see more detailed information about the product and where to buy it, like which stores have it available and product reviews from customers. You’ll also be able to rotate selected products on Google Shopping in 360 degrees to see them in more detail.” These details can be viewed in the renders provided by Google.

I’m a cheapskate. So I’m stoked on extra help to find the rippenest deals out there. I don’t think I neccessarily care about 360 degree views, but the more tools I have in my pocket the better. How do you feel about these updates? Do they seem useful to you? How do you see yourself using them? Let us know your thoughts by commenting below.
