Welcome to the New XDA-Developers Portal!

You may recall that a few weeks ago, we opened up the XDA-2015 forum themes to intrepid users willing to help us beta test the new look and experience the newer and more streamlined interface firsthand. Then just under one week ago, we officially launched the two new XDA 2015 forum themes for all. Now, we are pleased to launch the next generation of the XDA-Developers News Portal.

As you may have noticed, the new forum templates and the XDA Portal 3.0 share quite a bit in terms of visual style. Rather than having a somewhat disjoint experience between the forums and Portal, we wanted to combine the two as best we could and deliver a unified experience. As such, you will now see the same XDA-Developers header–complete with notification and profile access–regardless of whether you are reading up the threads in your home device’s forum or catching up on the latest XDA news here on the Portal.

We’ve put a lot of work into making the Portal and Forum be as good as they can be, and we hope that you like what you see! However, this is not the end of the line for Portal 3.0 improvements. We have exciting plans for upgrades this coming year, and we will be continually building upon the site to make it the best it can be. What do you like best about XDA 2015 and Portal 3.0?
