Cloupload Update Brings Multiple File Type Support and Intelligent Syncing

Cloupload

Not too long ago, we talked about Cloupload by XDA Forum Member bluefirex. For those who don’t remember, Cloupload is a fairly full featured and user friendly CloudApp client for Android that gives you fast and easy access to all of your hosted files from the comfort of your mobile device. Now, Cloupload has received a fairly significant update that brings several new features to the table.

In its previous iteration, Cloupload allowed users to upload images and perform various file management tasks such as renaming and deleting. It also offered audio and text previews for compatible file types, as well as the ability to upload bookmarks directly.

Now in version 1.1, several new tricks have been added. For starters, you’re now able to upload any file type–not just images. Sharing also saw a nice feature boost, with users now being able to select which type of URL to transmit (either Web, direct, or download). Intelligent background syncing was also added, and Cloupload is now also able to syntax highlight for Apple Swift source code if you happen to be an iOS/Mac OS X developer.

If you’re a CloudApp user and you haven’t yet given Cloupload a try, you can head over to the application thread to get started. And if you need to sign up for CloudApp, you can do so here.
