AT&T Galaxy Note II Android 4.4.2 update now rolling out
Several carrier variants of the Samsung Galaxy Note II have already been updated to Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat. And as of today it looks like the update process has begun for AT&T users. This will have AT&T Galaxy Note II users jumping from Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Looking back the Jelly Bean update arrived back in December, 2013.
Having said that, along with the bump to Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat -- AT&T Galaxy Note II users will be pushed to version I317UCUCNE5. Samsung has offered a fairly detailed changelog for the update, and that can be seen sitting just below.

If you happen to be carrying an AT&T branded Galaxy Note II you may want to be on the lookout for an update notification to arrive. The key here is to remember how these updates generally roll out in batches. Or in other words, the update may not be available for your specific device just yet.
That basically leaves you with a few options. You can sit back (with some patience) and wait for the update notification to arrive, or take the pro-active approach and go looking for it. The former is the easiest option, however we suspect more will be choosing the latter. There hasn't been many user reports just yet, but we'll make sure to let everyone know if those reports start coming in with complaints.
