Quick Mod Tool Decompiler and Compiler Now a Cross-Platform Utility

Back in January, we talked about XDA Recognized Contributor ricky310711‘s Quick Mod Tool. For those who don’t remember, Quick Mod Tool is a streamlined utility that allows users to easily decompile and recompile APKs, JARs, and classes.dex. Although it worked quite well, there was one major problem: The only supported platform back then was Windows.

Now thanks to  XDA Senior Member userdelroot, the utility has been converted to Java for use on all major platforms. This new, cross-platform version also comes with a fancy new GUI, which replaces the less user-friendly menu in previous versions.

You can try out the new cross-platform, GUI build by visiting the original thread. The old versions are still available for download, but if you wish to enjoy a nice UI on an app that can be run on any OS, the new version is worth your while.
