Google Text-to-Speech updated with new languages, including Dutch, Polish, and Russian
Though Google Text-to-Speech already supports some of the more common languages of the world, Google is working to add more languages to the mix. With today’s update of the app, Google added Dutch, Polish, Russian and Indian-English to the list of supported languages. This brings the total up to 13 languages.
If you’re interested in using it, head to Settings > Language and Input > Text-to-speech and change some settings around. If you have a Samsung device, make sure to select the Google TTS over the Samsung version! You can also change language there, if necessary.
If you’re interested in getting the new languages, head to the Play Store on your device or hit the widget to update the app. You’ll find the new languages in the Settings after that’s done. Do you use text-to-speech on your device? Leave a comment!
