Backup Your Personal Data with CM Backup

image

Every now and then, we migrate from one device to the next. Although contacts are easily synced through our Google accounts, text messages and call logs aren’t. To make a backup copy, you need to use an external application like Titanium Backup or Helium. But not every device is rooted, and these applications require shell access to work properly.

Luckily thanks to XDA Forum Member cmbackup, you can easily send your messages and logs to the cloud, from which you can easily retrieve them on your new device without jumping through any hoops. All you need is an account on one of the supported services, and the application does the rest. Root access isn’t required, and this can be used on almost every version of Android.

If you’ve been looking to backup your personal data, head over to the application thread and give CM Backup a shot.
