[APK] Google Play Music 5.5 Brings Mobile Playlist Management

unnamed

It is now officially Thursday everywhere around the globe, but mere technicalities such as the calendar day can’t hold us Google down. What in the world could we be possibly talking about? Well, Google decided to continue its Update “Wednesday” with yet another app update. Previously we saw two new apps appear (Docs and Sheets), as well as updates to Google Search and Google Play Games. Now, we have an update to Google Play Music version 5.5.1509O.1140258.

So what does Play Music 5.5 bring to the table when compared with the outgoing 5.4.1413N? In short, mobile playlist management. In this latest update, users can now edit existing playlists, straight from the mobile app itself. With this, you can edit playlist names and descriptions. You can also make playlists public and share them with other users if your music is stored on the cloud (i.e. not sideloaded MP3s).

Play Music 5.5 is gradually making its way out to devices and will eventually be available for all devices via the Google Play Music listing on the Google Play Store. However, we’ve gone ahead and mirrored the update on our Dev-Host in order to help you get in on the action a bit early.
