Keep Track of Your App Usage with Aptrax

sg8qLlwl

A few days ago, we talked about the useful application Frequency by XDA Forum Member AggieDev. Frequency’s sole purpose is to allow users to track and display which applications are used the most at any given time.

While Frequency is a fantastic option for those looking to learn more about their app usage habits, having more choices is never a bad thing. XDA Forum Member Mendrake offers his own take on the app tracking idea with Aptrax.

Like Frequency, Aptrax allows users to keep track of which applications you use most. But unlike Frequency, you can also uninstall these applications directly from within Aptrax’s nice Holo-themed interface. Aptrax also keeps track of not only total time spent in applications, but how many times each app was launched.

There is, however, one significant trade-off when using Aptrax versus Frequency. Aptrax only displays total time and application launch count since Aptrax was installed. In other words, there aren’t any available filters to display daily app usage, and so on.

Aptrax is another great option for those looking to track and manage their application usage. Make your way over to the application thread to give it a shot, and be sure to also check out the previously covered Frequency as well.
