Google Now officially comes to desktop Chrome dev channel

Google Now is an amazing and impressive project by Google. Not only goes it know what you want to see, but it shows you this information before you even ask for it. It’s a central hub for the things you’d need to know, like weather, travel, package shipments, stocks, sport scores and even research topics.

It has been available for computers for quite a while now, but you have had to mess around with flags to enable it. But no longer. Google Now has officially arrived on the Chrome dev channel! Along with Canary users, developers can now access Google Chrome from their computers instantly.

If you don’t want to switch over to the dev channel, Google says that Now will be coming to the beta channel this week, so you won’t have to wait long to play around with it. It’s awesome to see this smart feature grace computers alongside smartphones, but now we wait for Google to integrate some home automation with Google Now. I mean, the Nest purchase has to be used somehow, right?
