Pay With Google aims to speed up online checkout

If you buy things online, Google wants to make your process a bit faster.

Today Google officially announced Pay With Google. The idea is that users will be able to checkout a bit faster with online services. Pay With Google uses the stored credit and debit cards that are already linked with your Google Account, so you don’t have to type in anything to checkout. Google will automatically send the appropriate card data and shipping information to the seller.

Unsurprisingly, Pay With Google works with things like Google Play and Android Pay and users will also find upstart from services like Eat24, Kayak, Postmates, and Doordash. Other services like Papa John’s, StubHub, Boxed, and more will be supported in the near future, too.

If you’re someone who does a lot of mobile online shopping and you hate inputting all of your card and shipping data, Pay With Google sounds like it will help quite a bit.
