Nintendo announces ‘Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp’ for Android

Nintendo has launched a couple of games for smartphones, including Super Mario Run, and now the company is back at it with another popular titles.

Nintendo has officially announced Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp for both Android and iOS. For Android devices, Android 4.2 or newer is required, and iOS 9.0 and newer is required for iPhones. The point of this Animal Crossing title is to create a character and take care of a camp. To do that, you’ll need to collect resources to craft items, which will include decorations for the camp and furniture.

It’s an Animal Crossing title, so you’ll be able to make friends, too. That includes in-game characters as well as other players that are joining in on the Pocket Camp fun. Other players will be able to visit your campsite, too.

Players will get to explore beyond their campsite, including a forest, a river, and other locations. The title itself is a free download, but there are in-app purchases. You can earn Bells in the game to buy items, or you can spend real money to get what you want faster.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp officially launches on both platforms in late November. Do you plan on picking it up?
