Verizon’s new prepaid plans get more competitive

Starting May 15, Verizon will being offering three new prepaid plans that aim to be more competitive against rival carriers who have traditionally offered plans with the most bang for your buck.

Priced at $30, $45 and $60, each plans includes a new tier of benefits:

  • $30 – No data, unlimited talk to US and text to US, Mexico and Canada
  • $45 – 3GB data, unlimited talk to US and text to US, Mexico and Canada
  • $60 – 6GB data, unlimited talk to US, Mexico and Canada and text to US, Mexico and Canada

Those data numbers are only included with auto-pay accounts, otherwise data limits go down 1GB. None of these plans include tethering, but they’re not bad if Verizon is your network of choice.
