LG Stylo 2 launching on Cricket Wireless

Mother’s Day is right around the corner and Cricket Wireless has announced that it will be launching the LG Stylo 2 to help celebrate the holiday. The kicker? The device isn’t launching until May 13, meaning that your mother will have to wait a few days before her gift arrives. But if she’s a real fan of the device, maybe she’ll be okay with that.

As far as specs go, the LG Stylo 2 is nothing too special, but it fits in as a decent mid-range options. The device packs a 5.7-inch 720p display, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage plus microSD card slot, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 3000mAh battery and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Of course, the Stylo 2 also features its namesake, a built-in stylus. This can be used for writing, drawing and a whole variety of other uses. LG has also given the Stylo 2 a split-screen mode to enhance productivity even further.

Pricing is set at a very affordable $169.99 and Cricket Wireless is also offering a $50 credit for those who switch from another carrier. And if you’re switching from T-Mobile, Cricket Wireless will offer you a $100 credit.
