T-Mobile LG V10 receiving Marshmallow update next week

It was just earlier this week that we saw the latest Android distribution numbers, which showed Android 6.0 Marshmallow doubling in growth over the past month. April should carry on that trend, and now we know of yet another device that will soon be receiving its Marshmallow update. T-Mobile’s Product Manager, Desmond Smith, more popularly known by his Twitter handle, @askdes, has revealed that the T-Mobile variant of the LG V10 will be receiving an update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow next week.

There’s no word on the specific date and time of the launch, but V10 users can at least rest easy knowing that the update is just days away. Des also confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be receiving its Marshmallow update in the near future, though he didn’t offer up any specifics on the date, so customers using that device will have to wait just a bit longer.
