Moto G4 leaked images show off a front fingerprint reader

The Moto G4 is rumored to be one of Motorola’s upcoming handsets, and for anyone out there that is a fan of fingerprint readers on the front of their devices, Motorola’s looking to make you a happy camper.

The images were first published by Nowhereelse.fr, and they claim to show not only the front of the unofficial Moto G4, but also the back. On the front there appears to be a front fingerprint reader in the shape of a small square for hopefully convenient access. Also on the front, above the display, is Motorola’s prototype devices logo, a front-facing camera, and the earpiece.

The camera enclosure appears to be updated on the back of the handset, and a flash is present right next to the camera. It also looks like Motorola is keeping that small dimple on the back casing again.

Moto G4 back leak

As far as specifications go, that’s still an unknown element for the Moto G4. There were plenty of rumors circling around that Motorola planned on including a fingerprint reader for the devices it launches in 2016, and this leak would suggest that is indeed the case.

What do you think of the Moto G4′s fingerprint reader location?
