Google Keeps latest update lets you quickly save web links

There are plenty of note-taking and productivity apps on Android, but one of the most reputable is Google Keep. Google Keep has evolved over the years, adding more features and continuing to become a more powerful productivity app. Today brings in a new update for Google Keep, and this one adds some new features which should make it faster, easier and more effective to use Google Keep.

The biggest feature in the new update is the ability to share any web link to Keep to quickly make a note. You can also select text or an image and save it to Keep as a quick note. This feature works on both Android and in Chrome, where you can use an extension to quickly take care of it.

This update also adds the ability to label things with hashtags, making searching even faster. For example, if you use Keep to store recipes, you could use #recipes to quickly filter your results. Additionally, this update moves around some menus to allow for faster and easier work within Keep.

The update is rolling out now to Android, iOS and Keep on the web. Drop a comment and let us know what you think.
