CPU-Z screenshot show the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 with 6GB of RAM, 5.8-inch QHD display

The Samsung Galaxy Note 6 isn’t expected to launch for a few more months, but the rumor mill has already kicked into full gear. We’ve already seen rumors which claim that the new device will be equipped with 6GB of RAM, but new now have a CPU-Z screenshot which shows the phone will sport 6GB of RAM along with a 5.8-inch QHD display and 32GB of internal storage.

There’s no doubt that Android enthusiasts would be more than happy to get their greasy fingers on a Samsung phone with 6GB of RAM, but we’re still wondering why anyone would actually need all that RAM in the first place. Yes, multi-taskers would certainly benefit from having more RAM, but we can’t imagine that anyone is having issues with phone which currently have 4GB of RAM.

Do you think 6GB of RAM in and Android device is overkill?
