Xiaomi Fights Back Against Counterfeits

After facing estimated revenue losses of $115 million to counterfeit power banks alone, Xiaomi has started looking for new methods to fight piracy and counterfeiting. The company more than tripled smartphone shipments to 61.1 million units last year and claim without counterfeits their “sales would double or triple”.
