The sphere of mobile technology is one where devices and software alike come and go at a rapid rate. As new tech toys become cheaper and faster, few objects on this roller coaster are able to withstand the test of time and live on when others from their era are long since finished. One such tweak has been documented for Google’s 2010 flagship, the Nexus S, which allows users to go on to flash Android 4.4 KitKat, which is a humongous way from Android 2.3 Gingerbread that comes with it. The tweak is in the form of using an emulated internal SD card, similar to the MTP systems on newer devices, and XDA Senior Member KreAch3R has written a guide with detailed instructions on how to go about doing this. The resultant emulation, along with Logical Volume Partitioning, avails enough space on the device to flash KitKat on the now-expanded /system partition.
