Published on Friday, 12 December 2014 04:11

Rovio is celebrating the fifth birthday of their beloved franchise that literally took the company from being an obscure indie developer studio to a multi-billion dollar brand. Angry Birds has turned 5yrs old yesterday and to celebrate the original game has received a new content update.

Angry Birds now has two new levels that are themed around the Google Play store. Rovio has also included the ability to get yourself a gift from within the game itself. This is done by "starting the game and from main screen you tap on the options icon (arrow icon) and tap on the keyboard icon and enter the code ANGRY-BIRDS and press the green check button". Lastly Rovio has added an additional 30 levels that were all inspired by some of the fan art that everyone sent in back when Rovio initially requested it.

This update is now available for you to download off of the Google Play Store.
