LG officially launching G Watch R in South Korea on October 14

Round smartwatches are currently all the rage. Though both the LG G Watch and the Samsung Gear Live were launched first, the Moto 360 is getting all of the fame and attention. And who can blame us? The Moto 360 is a gorgeous piece of technology presenting itself as a classy watch replacement, while the others aren’t exactly traditional attire.

So it’s expected to see more manufacturers start making round watches to compete with Motorola. LG is second to the market with the LG G Watch R, what seems to be a round version of the G Watch. And for those in South Korea, it will be launching on October 14.

Unfortunately, we don’t know exactly when it’ll come to North America and Europe. LG hasn’t said so far, but it shouldn’t be too long. Price was also not announced, so we don’t know how it’ll stack up to the $250 Moto 360. However, we’re pretty excited for more variety in the Android Wear department!
