Verizon Moto X launch, pricing details reportedly leak out

Are you a Verizon customer that’s bummed about the fact that your AT&T friends have already ordered their new Moto Xs but you’re still trying to throw money at VZW for your own unit? If so, we’ve got good news for you, friend.

According an internal Verizon document, the new Moto X could be available on Big Red on September 26. The photo, shared by Phandroid, shows that Verizon may be planning a promotion that’ll see the bamboo Moto X priced at $99.99 with a two-year contract, the same price as the plain black unit. Typically the wooden Moto X comes with a $25 premium over the non-wood model. This promo will purportedly run through October 10.

The leaked doc also claims to show pricing for the 16GB and 32GB Moto Maker versions of the new Moto X. The former unit will cost $99.99 on-contract and $24.99 per month on Verizon Edge, while the latter will run buyers $149.99 with a 2-year commitment and $27.49 per month with Edge.

So that’s the good news. As is usually the case, though, there’s some bad news to go along with it. A second leaked document claims that the Verizon Moto X won’t come with Advanced Calling 1.0 (aka Voice over LTE) out of the box. Instead, the feature will hit the new X through a software update that’ll roll out “later this fall.”

How many of you Verizon customers are planning on snagging a new Moto X? If you are, how do you plan on customizing it?
