Android getting Angry Birds Transformers two weeks later than iOS

It’s nearing the end of 2014. Android is dominating the smartphone market and common folk actually know what Android is. Developers are creating apps for both Android and iOS, just like it should be. But apparently, no one told Rovio this. The company is releasing Angry Birds Transformers for iOS with a 15-day exclusivity period.

Rovio isn’t calling it exclusivity, though, just stating that the Android version will be late. This may be an exclusivity deal struck with Apple, or maybe the company is doing what most did a few years back: ignoring the popularity of Android. Back when Android was a smaller platform, it was understandable that companies took longer to develop the Android version of an app. But these days, it’s simply silly (especially considering Rovio’s size).

To be fair, I don’t think we’re missing much from watching the trailer for this game. It looks to be fairly boring, just milking two franchises that have been milked a little too much. But that’s my opinion, and yours might be different. Let us know how you feel in the comments!
