What a week this has been for Android firmware updates! Just one day after Android 4.4.3 was officially released, Motorola announced that it would begin rolling out Android 4.4.3 to the Moto XMoto G, and Moto E starting this week. Well folks, that time is now here, and the Moto X is officially the first non-Nexus/GPe device to receive Android 4.4.3.

The Android 4.4.3 update for the Moto X first started making its way out to the unlocked GSM Moto X (XT1053) early Wednesday morning, just one day after Motorola’s initial announcement. This software update comes in at software version 212.44.21.ghost_row, and is compatible with the XT1053 variant of the device. Then earlier today the T-Mobile US variant started receiving the same update as the unlocked GSM model, and the Brazilian regional variant started receiving its own update.

These updates are gradually trickling out to consumer devices. Naturally, it may take some time before it arrives on your device. Luckily, Senior Member xd1936 was kind enough to capture and mirror the update, as well as provide instructions on how to install it on your XT1053 device. And for those of you living in Brazil, Forum Member MelquiXDA captured the update for Brazilian Retail Devices for your sideloading pleasure.

If you’re a Moto X owner rocking either the unlocked GSM, T-Mobile, or Brazilian variant of the device, today’s certainly a good day. Head over to the appropriate link above to get started with the adb sideload fun!
