You may recall that we’ve talked about XDA Forum Member luciferabby‘s Dial’em All several times in the past here on the XDA Portal. We first gave mention to the application back in early April as an innovative solution to launch apps using the familiar T9 predictive text algorithm. Then about one month later, the application gained the ability to find, call, and email contacts, as well as uninstall applications. Along with that update, the application underwent a name change from The Dial to Dial an App. Now, the application has received yet another significant update, and following the previous trend, it also received yet another name change.

The aptly titled Dial’em All expands on the functionality of its predecessors by quite literally allowing you to “dial them all.” Like the last version, you can “dial” applications using T9 predictive text and search for contacts. And new to this version, you can now also dial and save numbers directly, replacing the need for a traditional dialer. So now, you can launch and uninstall applications, find and connect with contacts, and directly dial numbers all from one convenient place. What’s more, the application is themable so that you can make its aesthetics match your ROM of choice.

It’s great to see such a new and innovative concept shared with the community, and it’s even better to see a developer actively working to make his/her application as good as it can be. And now in this latest version, there really is no reason why Dial’em All can’t function as a supercharged replacement for your traditional phone dialer.  Head over to the application thread to get started.
