Epson Moverio BT-200 augmented reality smart glasses now available for order

Epson has announced today the availability of their second-generation Moverio BT-200 smart glasses. The connected eyewear offering from Epson sells for $699.99, making it a cheaper alternative for those not wanting to make the $1500 jump to Google Glass. The BT-200 has various sensors including a gyroscope, accelerometer and magnetic compass, as well as a front-facing camera for photos, video and augmented-reality applications.

The Moverio BT-200 is also sporting Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, removable memory up to 32GB, Dolby Mobile surround sound, 3D content and nearly six hours of battery life to a single charge. Check out the full press release below for more.
