Sprint Galaxy S5 pre-orders now live ahead of April 11 launch

Sprint customers, your Samsung Galaxy S5 pre-order is here.

Yes, Sprint just announced that it is now accepting pre-orders for the Galaxy S5 both in stores and online. Sprint will offer the device in both Charcoal Black and Shimmery White color options, and the big yellow carrier says that the GS5 will launch on April 11.

As for pricing, Sprint says that consumers can pick up an S5 for $199.99 with a 2-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate, $0 down with 24 monthly payments of $27.09 each with Sprint Easy Pay or $649.99 without a commitment. Sprint customers that opt to pick up a Galaxy S5 on a Framily Plan with Easy Pay will also receive a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 for free with a 2-year contract.

Sprint notes that its flavor of the Galaxy S5 will run on its Sprint Spark LTE service, which is now live in 18 markets. The device will also work with its plain ol’ 4G LTE network, which recently expanded to Detroit, MI; Rochester, NY; Manchester, NH; and Winston-Salem, NC. Sprint’s LTE network now covers 402 cities across the country.

Like the other US carriers, Sprint will also be offering Samsung’s Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit on April 11. Pricing for the Tizen-powered trio of wearables will be set at $299.99, $199.99 and $199.99, respectively.
