KitKat update for the UK HTC One pulled due to issues

It looks like HTC is having some trouble in the United Kingdom. The Android 4.4 KitKat update was released for the HTC One in the country, but it has been causing problems for some people and has been pulled for now. If you’re waiting for the update to roll out to your device, you’ll unfortunately have to wait until HTC fixes the issue and starts the rollout all over again.

HTC has not stated what the issue with the update was, which would have been very interesting to know. The only thing the company released is this statement:

“We are aware that a limited number of HTC users are experiencing difficulties with the KitKat update. As a result, all FOTA updates have been temporarily suspended. HTC is committed to providing customers with the best possible mobile experience and we are working hard to resolve the issue quickly.”HTC

The way HTC has been updating devices lately, we’re sure it won’t take too long to get the update fixed up and rolling out again. For the first time in a long time, HTC has been consistently decent with updates. Have any of you received this update in the UK? Having troubles? Leave a comment!
