Do More with the Bugged Xposed Framework on Your LG G2 KitKat with Source Code Fragment Compilation

LG G2 owners running the latest KitKat update will no doubt have discovered that the awesome Xposed Framework doesn’t quite work as well as it should be. If you’re lucky enough to have a somewhat functioning framework, you already realized that the majority of Xposed modules do not work, with only a select few working. With the Android experience becoming increasingly dependent on the Xposed Framework and the vast wealth of modules, this bug is certainly a bummer.

Well, XDA Recognized Developer garyd9 has decided that enough is enough, and wants to get going figuring out any possible work-around to the limitations imposed by this issue. Targeted more towards the developers of Xposed modules for the LG G2, he has started a compilation of source code fragments that such developers may use in their modules in order to add the certain functions and features the code allows. So far, this includes getting rid of the carrier logo on the left side of the status bar, replace the on-screen menu key with recent app key instead, and turning off the volume slider in the notification area, among others. Each fragment of code quoted in the compilation thread is accompanied by their respective function and a brief explanation of what they do.
