Dark Sky weather app for Wear OS is now available

Dark Sky is one of the most popular weather apps out there, and now Wear OS users can get an up-to-date look at the weather right on their wrist.

Dark Sky weather is now available for Wear OS. With the added support for smartwatches, users will be able to check the forecast, hyperlocal expectations for rain, and, of course, current conditions. There are a variety of complications Wear OS users can choose from, too, including next-hour precipitation, temperature, and more.

You’ll need to be a Dark Sky subscriber to take advantage of all these features on your wrist, which is $2.99 per year.

Dark Sky notes that while the feature roll out as a standard over-the-air update, which means it may take a couple of days before it’s widely available. If you use Dark Sky and Wear OS but haven’t received the update just yet, keep an eye out. It should arrive soon.
