At least one model of the Samsung Galaxy S10 may have five cameras

If you have been keeping tabs on the rumor mill regarding the Samsung Galaxy S10, the company’s flagship expected to arrive early next year, then you know Samsung is reportedly working on some very interesting additions to its lineup.

We’ve heard in the past that the company is planning on launching three different variants of the Galaxy S10 rather than two we’ve seen in the past. After that we heard that at least one of those models, which could be the Galaxy S10+, could feature five cameras: three on the back, two on the front. And, most recently, rumors suggested we could see an in-display fingerprint reader.

Now there’s a new report echoing that camera rumor. ETNews is reporting that the top-of-the-line Galaxy S10 variant will indeed boast three rear cameras and a pair of cameras up front. The report doesn’t go into any details regarding the camera specs or features, though.

This report also says we’ll see three Galaxy S10 variants. That aforementioned top-tier option with the five cameras, a middle-of-the-road variant with three rear cameras and a lone front-facing shooter, and then the budget device with two cameras on the back and a single front-facing camera.

So, it’s starting to sound a lot like Samsung is definitely going to launch three Galaxy S10 models next year. It will be interesting to see how Samsung prices out those options.
