Android Messages gets new, more comprehensive search feature

A basic search is already available in Android Messages, but Google is adding a revamped search that allows you to better narrow down your search to find what you’re looking for faster.

This new search can select between types of content like photos, videos, addresses, and links. You simply need to hit the search button on the main screen, select a contact, and select a category. Or you can use it as before, typing your search term up top.

This feature is rolling out to everyone this week so keep an eye out!
