Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 render reveals slim bezels

The last time we heard about Samsung’s upcoming tablet, the Galaxy Tab S4, the device was making the rounds through the FCC on its way to an official launch at some point later this year.

Word on the street is that while Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note 9 at its event being held on August 9, the company may also reveal its newest flagship tablet then, too. The rumor mill has also suggested in the past that the Tab S4 will drop the physical home button that Samsung has used on previous tablets and adopt a design that boasts minimized bezels.

Thanks to Android Headlines, we may have our first look at the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4. The publication has published renders of the device, seemingly confirming what the rumors have hinted at: a tablet with minimized bezels, no home button, and a lot of display.

Samsung removed its logo from the top bezel, too, which could indicate that the device will indeed boast an iris scanner on board. However, the render doesn’t give anything away in that regard. The display is said to measure in at 10.5 inches.

Around back there is a single camera, the Samsung logo, and “Tuned by AKG” branding. The render doesn’t answer how a future owner of a Galaxy Tab S4 will unlock the device, though. There isn’t any room for a fingerprint reader on the front, thanks to the missing home button, and the back of the device doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor, either. Could Samsung be ready to adopt an in-display fingerprint sensor?

What do you think of the design of the Galaxy Tab S4? If this is the real deal, do you approve?
