Amazon Prime Exclusive Phones adds Alexa-enabled Moto Z3 Play and Moto G6 Play

Last month, Motorola welcomed the Moto G6 into the ranks of Amazon’s Prime Exclusive Phones lineup, offering up a new and less expensive way to get your hands on one of Moto’s latest smartphones. Now two new devices are being added to the list.

Both the Moto Z3 Play and the Moto G6 Play are now officially part the Prime Exclusive program. Both handsets are now available for pre-order and will launch on June 29. The main draw for both handsets is the fact that Amazon’s Alexa digital assistant is baked right in.

As far as specs are concerned, the Moto Z3 Play boasts a 6-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of built-in storage, and a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 2TB. Around back there are 12MP and 5MP cameras, and there is an 8MP front-facing camera on the other side. It’s running Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box andis also equipped with a fingerprint reader.

Moto Z3 Play owners can access Amazon Alexa by double-pressing the Home button, and it can also be assigned to be the default digital assistant if you want. What’s more, if you buy a Moto Z3 Play, you’ll get a free Moto Smart Speaker with Amazon Alexa at no additional cost for a limited time.

The Moto Z3 Play is priced at $449.99 and it’s available in black.

There is a 13MP camera on the back and a 5MP front-facing camera. It has a fingerprint reader, too, and it’s running Android Oreo out of the box as well. Accessing Alexa is as easy as double-pressing the home button.

The Moto G6 Play retails for $189.99 and is available in Deep Indigo.
