Tag Heuer Connected Modular 41 is the latest Swiss smartwatch

Smartwatches were one of the biggest trends in mobile technology, but the cultural obsession has died down and smartwatches are not nearly as popular as they once were. Nonetheless, some manufacturers believe that there is still a niche market for smartwatches. One of those companies is Tag Heuer, the famous Swiss watchmaker that has worked with Google to create luxury Android Wear smartwatches.

Tag Heuer has just unveiled its latest luxury smartwatch, the Connected Modular 41, which is a smaller companion to the Connected Modular 45 smartwatch. The device’s name refers to its 41mm diameter, which provides a better option for smaller wrists.

Several improvements have been made to the Modular 41, such as a 390×390 AMOLED display with a higher max brightness of 350 nits. Other changes include 8GB of storage and 1GB of RAM to improve performance. Features like NFC, GPS, water resistance, and the customizable Tag Heuer dials remain the same.

Seven standard models are available online and in boutique stores, and the strap and lugs of the Modular 41 are customizable. Nine different straps are being offered, including three new leather straps in pink, blue, or white. Pricing starts at $1200 USD and the Connected Modular 41 smartwatch is now available for purchase online, with models hitting select boutique stores soon.
