OnePlus 5T in Sandstone expected to be announced on January 5

The OnePlus 5T was officially announced back in November 2017 in a single color. But that changed pretty quickly, at least in some markets.

OnePlus soon announced a Lava Red variant of the OnePlus 5T for China, and we recently saw the launch of the OnePlus 5T Star Wars edition with a sandstone backplate and a red Star Wars logo on the back. Now it looks like OnePlus is ready to another variant of the 5T.

The company has been teasing something since the end of 2017 and recently shared a teaser image on its official Weibo account, showcasing a familiar white backplate. What’s more, OnePlus’s social media accounts are showing the OnePlus logo with a sandstone backdrop, offering even more hints that a sandstone OnePlus 5T is right around the corner.

OnePlus’s teaser image says “three days left” and the “classic returns,” so we should expect the Sandstone OnePlus 5T to debut on Friday, January 5.
