Razer launches Hammerhead USB-C earbuds alongside the Razer Phone

Today’s the day that the Razer Phone officially goes on sale, and to celebrate, Razer has also launched some new earbuds to go along with its new smartphone.

Razer now sells Hammerhead USB-C earbuds. These earbuds use a USB-C connector rather than a 3.5mm headphone jack, making them perfect for the 3.5mm jack-less Razer Phone.

In addition to that USB-C port, the Razer Hammerhead USB-C earbuds include a custom-tuned DAC for “clean, unprocessed audio”, 10mm drivers, an in-line remote with volume controls and a microphone, and flat cables to prevent tangles. There are also ear tips in three sizes to help you get a perfect fit.

You can attach the earbuds magnetically when they’re not in use, and Razer also includes a custom carrying case for its new ‘buds.

The Hammerhead USB-C earbuds are now available from Razer’s website for $79.99.

The Razer Phone does include a USB-C-to-3.5mm adapter, so you can use any 3.5mm headphones you have with the new smartphone. If you’d like to ditch the dongle, or if you just want a new pair of matching bright green matching headphones for your new smartphone, these Razer Hammerhead USB-C earbuds are an option.
