The Moto E4 and E4 Plus now official

Today, the Lenovo-owned Motorola opted to unveil a pair of brand new Android-based smartphones, adding the Moto E4 and the Moto E4 Plus to the lineup of refreshed handsets.

The Moto E4, as one might expect, is a smaller variant of the E4 Plus, but both handsets are positioned with an aggressive price tag. As far as specifications go, the E4 boasts a 5-inch 720p display, either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 or 427 processor, and has 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB of built-in storage, an 8-megapixel camera on the back, and the battery is measured in at 2800mAh. It’s running Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box as well, and will ship at a price of $129. It will also be cheaper by way of the Amazon Prime Exclusive route, which means it’ll have ads on it. Amazon will reveal details on that at a later date.

Meanwhile, the E4 Plus offers a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 processor, and a 13-megapixel camera on the back. It has a fully metal body as well. Motorola managed to fit a 5000mAh battery under the hood, which should be great news for anyone who’s main focus is battery life. It supports Motorola’s 10W rapid charging as well, and the phone’s running Android 7.1 Nougat.

The Moto E4 Plus is pried at $179. Both handsets will be launching this month in a variety of different countries.
